Overview

This page has the locations of various files, their specs, what package they are a part of, etc. Currently it is based on BLAG30k images, with a goal to make it easier to update these images for the forthcoming BLAG40k.

Backgrounds

RPM: desktop-backgrounds-basic and desktop-backgrounds-extra
SRPM: desktop-backgrounds

Filenames: arbitrary
Specs: 1600x1200, jpeg (.jpg). Requirements are not strict.
Location: /usr/share/backgrounds/images and /usr/share/backgrounds/tiles

The final image should be 1600x1200 in jpeg (.jpg) format. Submissions for backgrounds can be higher resolution PNGs. The default gnome background in Fedora is default.png. The blag-firstboot script sets it to default.jpg. For this reason, desktop-backgrounds-basic should have both default.png and default.jpg, just to be "safe".
