Gnash

It's now possible to view some flash movies, such as youtube videos, using free software with Gnash. To install Gnash, type in a terminal: 

su
apt-get update
apt-get install gnash-plugin

If Firefox freezes, kill the gnash processes from the command line and continue browsing. 

killall "gtk-gnash"
